Who can join?

University Care Advantage (UCA) is a Medicare Advantage, Special Needs Plan. UCA has a Medicare contract and a contract with the Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS) program.

To join UCA, you must be entitled to Medicare Part A, be enrolled in Medicare Part B and the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System or AHCCCS (Medicaid), and live within one of our service areas. Our service areas include the following counties: Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai, and Yuma.

Individuals with End-Stage Renal Disease generally are not eligible to enroll with us, unless they are members of our organization and have been since their dialysis began.

*Eligible beneficiaries must use network pharmacies to access their prescription drug benefit except under non-routine circumstances, and quantity limitations and restrictions may apply.

Enrollment Options

Individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid can enroll at any time. There are several ways to enroll in our plan!

Call our enrollment line and speak to one of our experienced agents. Our licensed agents will help you understand how our plan works and explain our benefit coverage. We can also arrange for in-person appointments.
